Who runs this site
The NovaPoint Financial website and Apply form are currently operated independently under the NovaPoint Financial name. NovaPoint Financial is the name of the life insurance agency and producer team. In this policy, “NovaPoint,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of this site.
What we collect
When you apply, we receive what you enter in the form:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and state
- Your licensing status, current work situation, what you’re interested in, and how much time you have each week
- If you choose to share them, how you heard about us and anything you add in the note
We don’t ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, banking details, or health information. Please don’t send them.
When you visit any page, Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details so it can deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. This site doesn’t use analytics or advertising tools.
How we use it
We use your application to review your inquiry and to follow up with you about it. Follow-up may come by email, phone call, or text, and it’s handled by a person, not an automated system. We don’t use prerecorded calls or messages, and applying doesn’t sign you up for any automated promotional text campaign.
We also use your IP address and email address to limit repeated submissions and protect the form from abuse.
Who we share it with
Your application passes through two service providers:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and delivers your application to our inbox. You can read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Our email provider, which stores the inbox where applications arrive.
Submitting the form doesn’t send your information to any insurance carrier or distribution organization. If you later decide to move forward with licensing or contracting, some of your information may need to be provided to the licensed organization involved. We’ll tell you what’s needed and who receives it before that happens.
We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn’t set its own cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie in some cases to protect the site from automated abuse. We don’t track you across other websites, and we don’t let other companies do that through this site, so the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
How long we keep it
We keep application information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and for legitimate recordkeeping needs. Cloudflare and our email provider may keep copies or delivery records for a limited time under their own policies.
Your choices
To ask what we have, correct it, or have it deleted, or to stop hearing from us, email hello@novapointfinancial.com. You can also tell us on a call or reply STOP to a text, and we’ll stop contacting you.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, and applications go to a private inbox. No system is perfectly secure, which is one more reason not to send sensitive details through the form.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change affects information you’ve already sent us, we’ll email you before it applies.
